Francis E. Warren Air Force Base

The base is notable for its critical role in national security as one of only three strategic-missile bases in the United States. Recently, the base has been in the news due to a series of reports concerning the death of an airman. According to multiple news sources from late 2025, the airman, who was found deceased on base, was reportedly a suspect in a fatal shooting that occurred in July of that year.
