Bam Adebayo is an American professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born Edrice Femi Adebayo, he played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats before being selected 14th overall by the Heat in the 2017 NBA draft.
He is notable for his significant achievements in the league, including being a three-time NBA All-Star and a five-time member of the NBA All-Defensive Team. Adebayo has been a key player in leading the Miami Heat to the NBA Finals in 2020 and 2023 and has also won gold medals with the U.S. Olympic basketball team in 2020 and 2024.
