Recently, Emirates has been in the news following the Dubai Airshow for a series of major announcements. The airline placed a substantial order for 65 additional Boeing 777-9 aircraft, a deal valued at billions of dollars. This order also involves a strengthened partnership with GE Aerospace for the engines that will power these new planes. In a separate technological development, Emirates also announced it is set to become the first airline to equip its entire fleet with Starlink satellite internet, marking a significant shift in in-flight connectivity.
